About Samira Shokati

Samira Shokati is a board-certified family nurse practitioner, who is passionate about caring for patients of all ages and diverse backgrounds. She believes in the importance of building and nurturing long-term relationships with families and advocating for each individual to achieve their optimal state of health. Her focus on preventative care and providing proper education to her patients has empowered her patients to make informed decisions about their health and medication management.

Samira was born and raised in Iran. She speaks English, Farsi, and Dari. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Washington and later her training as a Doctor of Nursing Practice, Family Nurse Practitioner from Seattle University. Her training included family practice with a focus on cardiology and dermatology. She manages chronic conditions including diabetes, hypertension, chronic kidney disease, ADHD, weight management with diet and medication, sports medicine, women’s health, family planning, L&I claims, etc.

Samira is board-certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and is on the board of the Puget Sound Nurse Practitioners Association.

When away from her clinic, Samira enjoys baking, painting, gardening, and spending time with her family and her two dogs, May and June.
